Businessman shot at in Delhi
April 26th, 2011 - 4:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 26 (IANS) A 57-year-old businessman was shot at by three unidentified men near his house in east Delhi, police said Tuesday. His condition is stable.
“The incident took place in Surajmal Vihar at around 9 p.m. on Monday when Ramesh Katiyal was coming back from his office in Mayur Vihar Phase III,” investigating officer Harjendar Singh said.
After he was shot, Katiyal was rushed to a nearby hospital in Patparganj. His condition is stable, Singh added.
Katiyal, owner of a fodder company, told police that he was fired upon by three assailants, but he could not see their faces.
