Businessman commits suicide in Delhi
October 7th, 2011 - 6:45 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 7 (IANS) A 27-year-old businessman Friday morning committed suicide after his female friend refused to accompany him to his home, police said.
Aman Singh of Narela shot himself after his friend, who is a widow, refused to go along with him. They were friends for a long time. Both belonged to Amritsar.
Singh went to the 40-year-old’s room and asked her to accompany him to his house. “She refused and called her landlord Suresh Chand to resolve the issue. Irritated over this, Singh first opened fire in the air and then shot himself,” a police official said.
He added that the police have recovered six live rounds.
Singh was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
