Businessman attacked in Delhi
June 20th, 2011 - 5:26 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 20 (IANS) A 52-year-old businessman escaped a bid on his life when two unidentified men shot at him near Connaught Place in central Delhi, police said Monday.
Ansar Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Zakir Nagar in south Delhi, was going home in his car when the incident took place Sunday night.
“Two bike-borne assailants fired thrice at the car. Two bullets hit the door and the attackers immediately fled from the spot,” a police officer said.
