Builder’s guard held for firing on parking issue
January 22nd, 2012 - 9:53 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS) An argument over parking space turned violent and a builder’s personal security guard shot at and injured a watchman in west Delhi, police said Sunday. The builder’s guard was arrested.
“Rajbir Sharma, personal security guard of a builder and a former Delhi Home Guard, fired at watchman Naresh Saturday at East Punjabi Bagh. Naresh was hit by the bullet in his leg,” a police officer said.
Police said the Rajbir and Naresh had a heated argument over a parking issue, which had remained unresolved for a long time.
“Sharma possessed a licensed revolver,” police said.
Police lodged a complainant against Rajbir Sharma, who was arrested for attempt to murder.
