Builder kidnapped in Delhi
June 18th, 2011 - 11:01 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 18 (IANS) A 56-year-old builder in the city is suspected to have been kidnapped after he left his home, police said Saturday.
Vinod Kumar Gupta, a resident of Greater Kailash III in South Delhi, left his home in his car Friday night telling his family that he will be back in about an hour.
Gupta did not return till morning and his two mobile phones were unreachable, following which his son Ankur reported the incident at the Chittaranjan Park police station, a police official said.
His Toyota Corolla car was found abandoned at the Pari Chowk in Greater Noida Saturday morning, Additional Commissioner of Police Ajay Chaudhary said.
