BSF trooper run over by speeding vehicle
February 22nd, 2012 - 11:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 22 (IANS) A 37-year-old Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was killed after being run over by a speeding vehicle in south Delhi, police said Wednesday.
Dhirendra, who was a cook in the BSF camp at Chhawla, was hit by a speeding vehicle around 2 a.m. Wednesday near a flyover in the Vasant Kunj area as he was returning to the camp.
Dhirendra hailed from West Bengal.
“A case has been registered and hunt is on for the errant driver,” said a police official.
