New Delhi, Aug 25 (IANS) The Border Security Force (BSF) is hopeful that it along with the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) would be able to prepare a fresh roadmap to address areas of mutual concern in managing the India-Bangladesh border, a top official of the paramilitary force said here Monday. The three-day 28th India-Bangladesh border coordination conference, which concluded in Dhaka Sunday, certainly assisted both BSF and BDR in evolving a professional and coordinated approach towards resolving and dealing with contemporary and contentious issues, said BSF Director General A.K. Mitra.

“It has also afforded an opportunity to break fresh ground on certain issues where perceptions differed,” he added.
