British wives drawn to cheat hubbies
June 21st, 2011 - 8:04 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 21 (IANS) When it comes to cheating, the British ladies are seven times more likely to cheat on their husbands than French wives, an Anglo-French dating agency for married people has claimed.
Last year, 177,825 wives from Britain signed up to Undercover Lovers - whose members are married men and women - compared to 24,543 in France and 18,622 in Ireland, Daily Express reported Tuesday.
“We’re surprised by the figures. When we launched the site, we expected our French membership to quickly outstrip the British, given France’s historical reputation as the home of the liaison dangereus,” said Emily Pope, co-founder, UndercoverLovers.com.
Lack of action in the bedroom is the main reason people give for joining the website, the report added.
