British tourist molested in Orissa
August 18th, 2010 - 1:25 am ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Aug 17 (IANS) A waiter at a government-run hotel in Orissa’s Puri district was arrested Tuesday after a British tourist complained he had molested her, police said.
The 40-year-old waiter allegedly molested the London-based teenager at Yatri Nivas run by the Orissa Tourism Development Corporation Ltd at Konark, local police station in-charge R.B.Rout told IANS.
The woman had come Tuesday to Konark to visit the 13th century world famous Sun Temple and was staying alone at the Yatri Nivas.
Thousands of foreign and domestic tourists visit the temple at Konark, some 65 km from Bhubaneswar every day.
