London, Sep 8 (IANS) A cat that was brought to catch rats at British Prime Minister David Cameron’s official residence No.10 Downing Street sleeps all day. The reason? He spends the nights roaming around with his new ‘girlfriend’.
Larry has hooked up with a “pretty tabby” named Maisy, The Sun reported.
The female cat lives nearby in St James’s Park with owner and park manager Mark Wasilewski, who has confirmed the male cat has been paying visits to his pet.
A spokeswoman for Royal Parks - the organisation responsible for maintaining the parks originally owned by the royal family - said: “The two appear to be content with each other’s company, sometimes enjoying meals together.”
