Britain seeks details of citizen’s death in Goa
March 18th, 2010 - 1:39 pm ICT by IANSPanaji, March 18 (IANS) Britain has sought details from the Goa Police about the mysterious death of one of its nationals who was found dead in his hotel room March 12.
A letter received by the Goa Police Wednesday from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office seeks specific information about the death of 30-year-old Anthony David Keats, who was found dead in his hotel room at Colva, a beach village 40 km from here.
Superintendent of Police (Foreigners Branch) Tony Fernandes said: “The FCO has also asked for a copy of the inquest panchanama (report) and details about the cause of death.”
The body is yet to be handed over to the deceased’s relatives, he added.
