London, Dec 6 (IANS) Former supermodel Christie Brinkley has vowed to settle her $500,000 tax debt insisting that she regrets not paying attention to her finances.
The 57-year-old topped the list of non-tax payers issued by the America’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) earlier this month.
“I was surprised to learn of the tax lien filing and took immediate steps to rectify this matter. I discovered the tax lien was the result of an error,” Brinkley told tmz.com.
“My taxes will be paid in full by Wednesday, December 7th and I expect the tax lien to be released immediately thereafter. I regret not paying more attention to my accounting,” she added.
