Bright morning in Delhi, rains expected

New Delhi, June 17 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a bright and clear Friday morning as the minimum temperature touched 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the season.

“The sky is expected to turn partly cloudy towards the evening with possibility of rains or thundershowers in certain parts of the capital,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.

Delhi witnessed a pleasant day Thursday with maximum temperature recorded at 37 degrees — two notches below average.
