Bright but nippy morning in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IANS) It was a sunny but nippy morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 15.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above average for this time of the season.

“The day will be bright and clear but later a drop in temperature will be witnessed and it will be a chilly evening,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

A light cover of mist enveloped the city early morning.

The maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees, the official said. Humidity will waver between a high of 80 and a low of 40 percent.

Wednesday’s maximum temperature settled at 29.4 degrees, a notch above average, while the minimum was recorded at 15.6 degrees, three degrees above average.
