Brawl in Gujarat jail between prisoners leaves one dead

- Ahmedabad, March 1 (IANS) One person died when a fight broke out between three undertrails in the Sabarmati Jail here Sunday night, the police said.
A fight broke out between Azam, Mahendra and Suresh over some issue and Mahendra slashed Suresh’s throat with a sharp object, the police said.
Suresh was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead, the police added.
A case of murder has been registered against Mahendra and further investigations are on, the police said.
The victim’s body has been sent for post mortem examination.
