Boy killed in building collapse
October 9th, 2011 - 11:25 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 9 (IANS) A three-year-old boy was killed and seven people were injured Sunday when the balcony of a building collapsed in north Delhi, police said.
“Lucky was sitting along with other children in the balcony of the house in Burari,” said a police official. He died on way to hospital.
“The incident took place around 2 p.m.,” police said, adding that the injured included six children and 32-year-old woman Rajkumari, who lived on the first floor of the house as a tenant.
She fell down when the balcony collapsed.
A case of causing death by negligence has been registered.
