Pawan’s body was found in a building in Laxmi Garden area, not very far from his house, a police official said.

The 14-year-old was abducted by two teenaged boys April 7 from his house in Rajeev Garden Colony in Loni.

The kidnappers - identified as Shoaib and Uma Shankar - had recorded his voice and were demanding a ransom of Rs.500,00 from the boy’s family. They apparently stoned Pawan to death, an official at Loni police station said.
