Boat with Singapore SIM voucher found on Gujarat coast
March 28th, 2011 - 10:54 pm ICT by IANSGandhinagar, March 28 (IANS) An unmanned boat found near Gujarat’s Bharuch coast Monday put the police on high alert in view of Wednesday’s India-Pakistan cricket World Cup semifinal match in Mohali.
The police recovered a mobile SIM card cover and a recharge voucher of a Singapore company on the boat.
According to Bharuch police chief Gautam Parmar, the boat was recovered from marshy land near the Hansot police station.
He said the state police are contacting the Singapore company to ascertain the mobile number which was recharged through the voucher.
