BMS supports Baba Ramdev
June 3rd, 2011 - 6:02 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 3 (IANS) The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), which has close links with the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), Friday offered its support to the indefinite hunger strike by Baba Ramdev.
A delegation of BMS met the yoga guru and handed him a letter pledging “full cooperation” to his campaign against black money and corruption, the BMS said in a statement.
The BMS said it too wanted fast track courts to deal with corruption cases and stringent punishment to the corrupt, including death penalty.
Saying it had been raising these issues, the union said it had told its state units and industrial federations to join Ramdev’s protest at the Ramlila ground here Saturday.
