BMA releases Best Task Force to assist citizens

Permanent Secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) Pongsakti Saemsan (พงศ์ศักติฐ์ เสมสันต์) traveled to inspect the work of the “Best” Task Force operating under the District Office of Din Daeng. The task force is operating to assist citizens in emergency situations, especially during times of heavy rain in which vehicles may be left stranded on road sides or if their is sustained flooding in small sois. The group will also deal with fallen billboard signs from heavy winds which have been a major concern of citizens as of late.

The BMA Permanent Secretary has instructed 50 districts to release their Best Task Forces to inspect orderliness and also to prepare authorities for 24 hour response to citizen needs. Mr. Pongsakti also said that rapid response teams of the Municipal Works Department should also attempt to assist citizens in need.
