Blaze at IPL chief Lalit Modi’s Mumbai bungalow
December 19th, 2009 - 9:28 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Dec 19 (IANS) A fire broke out in the bungalow of Indian Premier League (IPL) chief Lalit Modi here Saturday evening, an official said. There were no reports of any casualties.
The blaze - the cause of which is not yet known - engulfed Anand Bungalow in the upscale Gandhigram Road area of Juhu, close to the ISKCON Temple, in north-west Mumbai.
The fire brigade rushed eight fire tenders to combat the conflagration and there were no immediate reports of any casualties, an fire brigade official said.
The fire brigade was not aware of the number of people present in the bungalow when the fire broke out around 6 p.m.
