Blast kills nine Afghan soldiers

Kabul, Oct 2 (IANS) Nine Afghan soldiers were killed when a bomb exploded under their vehicle in the eastern part of the country, Xinhua reported Sunday.
The attack took place late Saturday in Paktia province, 100 km south of Kabul, a spokesman for the provincial administration said Sunday. He blamed the Taliban for the attack.
