London, Feb 25 (DPA) Blackburn Rovers were dumped out of the FA Cup with a shocking 0-1 loss to Championship side Coventry City
Coventry striker Leon Best scored the only goal of Tuesday’s game, heading home a cross from Aron Gunnarsson on 59 minutes to beat a depleted Blackburn line-up.
It is the second year in succession that Coventry have ended Blackburn’s Cup hopes. They now play Chelsea in the quarter-finals.
In the night’s other replay, Fulham came from behind to beat another Championship side, Swansea City, 2-1 and set up a tie with favourites Manchester United.
Jason Scotland gave Swansea a shock lead two minutes into the second half, but two goals in four minutes, first from Clint Dempsey (77) and Bobby Zamora (81) sealed victory for the Premier League side.
