New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) Parliament’s winter session, set to start Tuesday, may turn out to be stormy with the Bharatiya Janata Party Sunday saying it will raise the issue of corruption and price rise in the house as well as on the streets.
The announcement was made by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and her Rajya Sabha counterpart Arun Jaitley.
“We will protest in parliament, and our workers on the streets,” Jaitley said blaming the government for lack of leadership and credibility.
Sushma Swaraj added that the protest on streets will be under the leadership of party president Nitin Gadkari.
“In parliament, under the guidance of (L.K.) Advaniji, I will lead the protest in Lok Sabha and Jaitleyji in Rajya Sabha,” she said.
The recent parliament sessions have seen several adjournments over price rise, corruption and various scams. The monsoon session this year was the second most tumultuous session of the present Lok Sabha after the last winter session, which was completely washed out.
