BJP supporters’ car hits guard

New Delhi, April 20 (IANS) A security guard was injured after being hit by a vehicle carrying supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) near Town Hall in central Delhi after the mayoral elections Wednesday, police said.
Mohan Chand Joshi, a resident of Burari area in north Delhi, was hit by a car near the main gate of Town Hall around 3 p.m.
“Some supporters during their celebrations after the mayoral election hit the guard with their car,” said a senior police officer.
“Joshi was rushed to hospital. His condition is reported to be stable,” said the officer.
