BJP leader shot, injured in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal, Aug 25 (IANS) A leader of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and his two supporters were injured when gunmen fired at them when they were returning home in Madhya Pradesh, police said Monday.The incident occurred late Sunday in Badwani district, 300 km from here. Shambhu Sharma, the BJP’s Badwani district general secretary, was in hospital and out of danger, police officer Ranvijay Bhadauria, told IANS.
