London, Sep 4 (IANS) Icelandic singer Bjork is upset with the lack of credit she got for her work on her 2001 album “Vespertine” reports that sound engineer and music producer Valgeir Sigursson has been getting the credit for the album.

In an open letter to the Icelandic paper Raykavik Grapevine, Bjork wrote: “It still feels like after all these years people cannot imagine that women can write, arrange or produce music. I have experienced many times that the work I do on the computer gets credited to whatever male is within a 10-metre radius.”

She was not happy with the newspaper for supposedly wrongly crediting Sirgursson as producer of the album.
