Biker gang strikes again, loots businessman in Delhi

New Delhi, July 19 (IANS) Three unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants shot a businessman and robbed cash and valuables from him in northwest Delhi in the sixth such incident in the past few days in the national capital. The assailants fired at Trilok Chandvani and hit him on his shoulder when he was waiting with his employee Rajkumar for a mechanic after their Santro car broke down in Ashok Vihar area late Friday.

Chandvani, who runs a steel factory in nearby, was going to his Shalimar Bagh home when he was attacked.

The robbers left the spot after taking Rs.15,000 in cash and some valuables from him. Rajkumar informed the police, who took Chandvani to a city hospital. He was out of danger, doctors said.
