Betrayed by lover, minor girl commits suicide
June 19th, 2011 - 12:00 am ICT by IANSBhopal, June 18 (IANS) A minor girl committed suicide in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh Saturday - the day her lover was scheduled to marry another woman, police said.
Neleema, 17, immolated herself at her house in Bina Etawa town in Sagar district, some 180 km away from state capital, and left behind a suicide note blaming her lover for her step. She died on way to hospital.
“As soon as we get the post-mortem report, we would register case under provisions for abetment to suicide against the accused,” said inspector Kamal Nigwal.
