BCCI bans Sudhindra for life, Shrivastava for 5 years
June 30th, 2012 - 6:23 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, June 30 (IANS) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Saturday banned Madhya Pradesh fast bowler T.P.S. Sudhindra for life, Uttar Pradesh fast bowler Salabh Srivastava for five years and Madhya Pradesh batsman Mohnish Mishra, Goa all-rounder Amit Yadav and Himachal Pradesh batsman Abhinav Bali for one year for bringing the game into disrepute.
The decision was taken at the BCCI’s disciplinary committee meeting here Saturday, finding Sudhindra guilty of spot-fixing, Shrivastava for agreeing to spot fix and the other players for misdemeanours.
