Bank manager commits suicide in Punjab court
May 27th, 2011 - 10:43 pm ICT by IANSPathankot (Punjab), May 27 (IANS) A bank manager Friday committed suicide by consuming poison inside the premises of a court in this Punjab town, police said.
The deceased was identified as Bharat Bhushan, employed with Haryal cooperative society bank.
“Bhushan had come to the court to attend a hearing in a loan recovery case. He was under depression due to the case and consumed some poisonous substance. We immediately took him to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead,” said a police official.
