Bangladeshi bandit killed in Tripura
March 29th, 2012 - 9:56 pm ICT by IANSAgartala, March 29 (IANS) Police shot dead a Bangladeshi bandit in Tripura Thursday.
A group of armed men from Bangladesh attacked Indian villagers and injured a man and two women. They also looted valuables.
Police spokesman Subrata Chakraborty said policemen rushed to the area in West Tripura, 35 km north of here, and opened fire killing a dacoit on the spot. The other members of the gang eascaped.
Tripura shares a 856-km border with Bangladesh.
