Bangladesh president hospitalised

Dhaka, July 31 (IANS) Bangladesh President Zillur Rahman was hospitalised Sunday after complaining of being “unwell”, the Daily Star reported.
The president was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the president at the hospital around 2 p.m.
According to the president’s son, Nazmul Ahsan, his father was admitted to the hospital Sunday morning for a routine check-up, reported bdnews24.com, a Bangladeshi news website.
Officials at Bangabhaban, the President House, said the 82-year-old president was in good spirit and spoke to all.
