Balance study and play, say Class 12 toppers
May 23rd, 2011 - 9:16 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 23 (IANS) Balancing study with play is the formula for success, say students who have topped the Class 12 CBSE exams.
Nikhil Pandhi from Vasant Valley school of Delhi, who scored 97.5 percent in humanities stream says he was regular in studies and had fun as well.
“I am very happy that my hard work was fruitful. I did not make a time table but eventually a time table was formed. I would get up at 6.30 a.m. But never studied all night. One has to be consistent… at the time of studying, focus on studies, and at the time of having fun, have a lot of fun,” he said.
“You must understand what you are writing. If you understand it you can write it in simpler manner,” he said.
Second topper from the school, Riya who got 97 percent, says selective study was the key.
“I studied in the morning, 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., I did selective study and focused on what I felt was important,” said Riya.
