Australian held for peddling drugs
January 1st, 2011 - 9:16 pm ICT by IANSPanaji, Jan 1 (IANS) An Australian national was arrested for peddling drugs at a beach party in Anjuna during the wee hours of New Year celebrations. Oliver Pinz, 25, was arrested for allegedly selling LSD, a banned psychedelic drug, to tourists near Anjuna beach earlier Saturday, according to the police anti-narcotics cell.
“He was found with LSD tablets worth Rs.3 lakh in his possession,” said sub-inspector Tushar Lotlikar adding that Pinz has been remanded to police custody for seven days.
