Australia bowled out for 333 in the first innings
December 27th, 2011 - 8:43 am ICT by IANSMelbourne, Dec 27 (IANS) Australia were bowled out for 333 in the first innings against India shortly before the lunch break on the second day of the first cricket Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here Tuesday.
Resuming at overnight 277/6, Australia could add just 56 runs and lost four wickets during 21 overs of play.
Overnight batsmen Peter Siddle and Brad Haddin made 41 and 27. India’s pace spearhead Zaheer Khan finished with four for 77 while Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin bagged three wickets each.
