Auomobile parts showroom, furniture shop gutted in Delhi
December 9th, 2010 - 8:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS) Two separate fire incidents were reported in the city Thursday, one each from central and west Delhi, a fire official said. No one was injured.
“A multi-storey building housing an automobile spare parts’ showroom in Karol Bagh in central Delhi was gutted. The fire erupted in a car and spread to the building,” the fire official said.
“The fire which started around 3.30 p.m. was doused around 5.50 p.m. No casualties were reported,” added the official.
The fire department sent 25 tenders to the spot, he said.
The second blaze was reported from Kirti Nagar in west Delhi where a furniture shop was gutted. The fire broke out around 4.55 p.m.
“Two fire tenders doused the blaze by 5.55 p.m. No one was injured,” said the official.
