At least 22 killed in two accidents in Mexico

Mexico City, July 22 (IANS) At least 22 people have been killed in two highway accidents in northern Mexico, EFE news agency reported Tuesday citing officials and media reports. In the first accident, a car collided head-on with a bus on a highway curve in Coahuila province Sunday, killing nine people, the state prosecutor’s office said.

Among the dead were five children. All were from the same family.

The car, which was overloaded, was heading in the direction of Ciudad Acu
