Sushma had applied for parole for three months citing her poor health condition inside the jail and to attend to the last rites of her husband.
She also applied for short-term bail to meet and look after her three young children.
But the court rejected her plea Thursday. The court observed that it could not grant her bail as her another bail application was pending in the Allahabad High Court.
A lower court could not grant bail as the application was pending in the higher court, it said.
The court asked the Dasna Jail authorities to provide proper medical treatment to Sushma Asthana.
