This weekend, news hit the screens that Howard Stern’s side kick, Artie Lange has been arrested on charges of DUI (driving under the influence of an intoxicant). The incident had taken place on the 10th of July, Friday. This news was no shocker a lot of people, as many are aware of Artie Lange’s history that is colored with substance abuse problems.

It has been reported that Lange had been arrested on suspicion of DUI after he had been involved in a minor car accident in Ocean County, New Jersey, late on Friday night. It is reported that Lange, was driving a 2009 Nissan Sentra at the time of the accident. He had been involved in reckless driving and had ‘rear ended’ a Pontiac. It was after this incident that he had been charged with reckless driving and DUI. The agencies that operate in the area in which Lange was arrested are the Ocean County Sheriff’s department and the Toms River Police Department. When both the were contacted in an effort to seek the “mugshot”, they declined revealing it saying it was not meant to be put up online. A lot of demand seems to have been created surrounding the “mugshot” photograph, as many people are eager to have a glimpse of the picture.
