Apollo Hospitals sign MoU with University College of London
May 21st, 2011 - 5:57 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 21 (IANS) Private health care chain Apollo Hospitals has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University College, London, for collaboration in training and clinical research.
“The MoU aims to bring both partners to promote and carry out educational and research activities in health sciences,” Apollo Hospitals said in a release Saturday.
The MoU was signed by Shobana Kamineni, Apollo Hospitals Executive Director (New Initiatives) and by Professor Michael Worton, Vice-Provost (Academic and International) of University College of London, early this month in London, the press release stated.
“This collaboration will significantly enhance training programme and research carried out in priority areas of relevance in India,” Kamineni added.
University College, London, a multi-disciplinary university, has over 4,000 academic and research staff, including 21 Nobel prize winners as its faculty, the release added.
