Antony re-elected IDSA president
January 5th, 2010 - 3:12 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 5 (IANS) Defence Minister A.K. Antony was Tuesday re-elected unopposed as president of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) for another two-year term.
The election took place at the institute’s annual general body meeting.
Antony will head the IDSA Executive Council or governing body, elections to which were also held for the 2010-12 term.
The newly-elected members, including those re-elected for a second
two-year term, are: R. Rajagopalan, Naresh Chandra, Vice Admiral P.S. Das (retired), Air Marshal S.G. Inamdar (retired), Lt.Gen. V.R. Raghavan (retired), R.P. Kaushik and Gulshan R. Luthra.
