Anna’s condition better: Doctor
August 24th, 2011 - 11:07 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 24 (IANS) The health condition of social activist Anna Hazare, whose fast for a Jan Lokpal bill continued for the ninth day Wednesday, is better than on Tuesday, said one of the doctors monitoring Hazare’s health.
“Compared to yesterday (Tuesday), Annaji is better. His blood pressure and heart rate are normal,” said Balram Gupta of the team of doctors, adding that another check-up would be done later Wednesday.
Hazare, whose health condition deteriorated Tuesday, refused to be put on IV drip despite the recommendation of doctors. He said that his conscience doesn’t allow it.
