Chandigarh, Aug 19 (IANS) Even though the first day of the monsoon session of the Haryana assembly was adjourned after obituary references Friday, anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare’s name figured in the house.

Legislators of the opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) wore scarves around their necks with slogans in favour of Anna and his anti-corruption crusade written on them.

The slogans read: “Kyon paisa paisa karti hai, Congress Anna se kyon darti hai (Why does the Congress clamour for money and fears Anna)” and “Anna bill pass karo, bhrashtachar khatam karo (Pass Anna’s Jan Lokpal bill and end corruption)”.

Before entering the house, the INLD legislators, led by leader Ajay Singh Chautala, shouted slogans in support of Anna Hazare and his campaign.

The INLD demanded that the Haryana assembly pass a resolution asking the central government to table the Jan Lokpal bill, prepared by Team Anna, in parliament for discussion and bringing an effective law against corruption.
