May 4th, 2011 - 8:22 pm ICT by IANS
Mumbai, May 4 (IANS) Anjum Chopra, former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team, is participating in adventure reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi” and she hasn’t left cricket behind.
“All the boys on the sets were excited about having a cricket star among them so they are ever ready to learn various cricket strokes and get batting tips from Anjum. In every spare moment that Anjum gets, she’s seen coaching all the cricket enthusiasts on the sets in South Africa,” a source from the unit of the show told IANS.
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is hosting the show which has 13 female celebrity participants and their respective male partners. It will be aired on Colors.
Models Diandra Soares, Alesia Raut and Poonam Pandey, actresses Aarti Chhabria, Smita Bansal and Aashka Goradia, item girls Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah, two VJs - Bani and Mia Uyeda, singer Mauli Dave and Dina Singh who is actor Vindu Dara Singh’s wife - will be seen trying daredevil stunts on the show.

Ram Kapoor bids goodbye to ‘Swayamvar’
TV actor Ram Kapoor, who has been hosting wedding reality show ‘Swayamvar’ on Imagine TV since last two seasons, won’t be seen in the third season because of date issues.
Ram is doing Ekta Kapoor’s show “Bade Acche Laggte Hai” and hence won’t be available to shoot for “Swayamvar”, which has actress Ratan Rajput as the would-be bride this time.
It so happened that Ram accepted Ekta’s offer, not realising that dates for both the shows will clash. Hence the actor had to opt out of one show. Since Ram wanted to give his hundred percent to “Bade Acche Laggte Hai”, he said goodbye to “Swayamvar”, said a source.
“Bade Acche Laggte Hai”, that also stars Sakshi Tanwar, will air on Sony.
