Angry with wife, man kills son
June 14th, 2011 - 4:29 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, June 14 (IANS) A man hacked his four-year-old son to death with an axe Tuesday alleging the child was born out of his wife’s illicit relationship with a co-villager in Jharkhand’s Simdega district, police said.
Umesh Singh, a resident of Bujama village of Simdega, around 110 km from Ranchi, killed his son Bunty, police said. Umesh used to accuse his wife of having an affair with a co-villager and say that Bunty was born out of this illicit relationship.
When the quarrel turned ugly Tuesday, Umesh hacked his son to death and fled, police said. Police have sent the body for autopsy.
