Amritsar court gets complaint against Advani’s book

Amritsar, June 2 (IANS) A local Sikh organisation here Monday filed a complaint against senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Lal Krishna Advani for insulting Sikhs in his book “My Country My Life”. The Khalra Mission Organisation (KMO) filed the complaint against Advani and publisher Rupa and Co before a local magistrate.
KMO leader Harmandeep Singh told reporters here that facts about the Sikh history and other events related to the community were twisted by Advani in his book. “He has insulted Sikhs in his book. The sentiments of the Sikhs have been hurt,” Singh said.
