Alcoholic man kills wife
October 29th, 2011 - 11:53 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS) A 28-year-old woman was murdered by her husband in south Delhi after an argument over his consuming liquor, police said Saturday.
Sheela was killed by Sattu, 32, Friday night at their Rangpuri house.
“Sattu was a habitual drinker and was fed up of his wife’s constant nagging. On Friday night, she again started arguing with him and in a fit of rage, he slit her throat with a knife,” a police official said.
According to police, the neighbours found the mother of two lying in a pool of blood Saturday morning.
Sattu is absconding, added the official.
