Air Marshal S. Radhakrishnan is ADC to president

Thiruvananthapuram, July 3 (IANS) Air Marshal S. Radhakrishnan, Southern Air Command chief, has been appointed Honorary Air aide de camp (ADC) to President Pratibha Patil.
The appointment comes to an end with the term of the president or till the retirement of the individual concerned or as long as the president may be pleased, said a statement issued here Friday.
Radhakrishnan took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Air Command here in October 2008.
Commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force in June 1970, he is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy. He is a qualified flying instructor and a fighter combat leader and has flown over 4,000 hours on a variety of combat and trainer aircraft.
