Air force to hold recruitment rally in Gujarat
February 6th, 2009 - 9:36 pm ICT by IANSAhmedabad, Feb 6 (IANS) The Indian Air Force will hold a recruitment rally for airmen Feb 25-28 at Himmatnagar town in Gujarat’s Sabarkantha district, an official release said Friday.The recruitment would be held for Group ‘Y’ and Group X (technical) grade.
The basic qualification for Group ‘Y’ is intermediate or 10+2 with pass marks in science, arts, commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses and minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate.
For Group ‘X’ it is intermediate or 10+2 with pass marks in mathematics and physics with minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate or three-year diploma in engineering.
Unmarried male candidates born between Jan 1, 1988 and March 31, 1992 from Gujarat, Daman, Diu and Dadra, Nagar Haveli would be eligible to participate in this rally, the release said.
